Who Are We?
Stepping inside No. 47 will become a sensory experience you won't forget. Virtually all fixtures and fittings which remained from the previous occupants have been repurposed and rejuvenated with a little razzamatazz! The meticulous detail you see around you is the work of Angie; forever thinking ahead and spotting ways to improve upon and maintain consistently high quality.
The revival of No 47 uses existing elements and marries the dedication to preserving the environment, giving consideration to the ecological impact of every component of the products and how the business operates. Using glass and paper instead of plastic, and reducing the carbon footprint by sourcing local produce.
Customer satisfaction and aiming high are huge drivers for Angie who has worked in hospitality for many years and is now realising a dream to open her own eaterie; customers are at the heart of everything she does.
Whilst notably gaining a reputation for Hampshire and West Sussex Hog Roast, Jason also specialises in Authentic Big Pan/Street food dishes such as paella and chilli.
Jason will continue to run Hampshire and West Sussex Hog Roast whilst his wife Sarah will work alongside Angie in the day to day running of The Sty In Chi.
It's Jason's working knowledge of all things piggy which inspired him to come up with the business name of The Sty, which when adding the location it became 'The Sty In Chi'. The foundation of the logo, the piggy under the sty was also Jason's brainchild and Angie then used her creativity to blend the name and the logo.
Jason's family have provided invaluable support and help in setting up The Sty In Chi. Big thanks to his Dad who had the unenviable task of painting the entire building inside.
Having worked together on many Hampshire and West Sussex Hog Roast events, Angie and Jason have now partnered their talents to bring you a first-class service standard which will take The Sty In Chi to the top of Chichester's must-go-to eateries; food has never tasted so good!
Since an early age, Jason has been passionate about food, focusing his career on the restaurant and catering industry. As an experienced head chef with strong links to the Hampshire and West Sussex regions, Jason has built a network of trusted independent suppliers producing delicious local
produce to support his business; allowing him to deliver innovative and inspiring menus for all occasions.
The Sty has inside seating for up to 20 people on a walk in basis. Dogs are welcome on the ground floor.
